Annerton was again successfully ranked by leading publishers
Munich 31 January 2022 – In the current rankings of the leading publishing houses Chambers & Partners, Juve Verlag and The Legal 500, Annerton was once again successfully ranked. The FinTech law firm makes it into Band 1 in the Chambers & Partners ranking in the category FinTech Legal Germany.
“The once again excellent rankings are the result of a consistent implementation of our regulatory boutique strategy. In addition to our traditionally strong banking and payments practice, which is already served by our Berlin and Munich offices, our Frankfurt office, which has been further expanded by Dr Anna Izzo-Wagner and Alireza Siadat, has established itself as a sought-after specialist team in the areas of investment law and blockchain/DLT, as well as strengthening our banking expertise,” emphasises Frank Müller, LL.M., founding partner and lawyer at Annerton.
In the recently published The Legal 500 ranking, the firm is listed for the second year in a row in the FinTech (in Tier 2) and Financial Market Supervision (in Tier 4) categories. In addition, Dr Susanne Grohé and Frank Müller LL.M. (both founding partners) were again recognised as leading names in the FinTech category. Back in December, Annerton made it into Band 1 of Chambers & Ranking’s FinTech Legal Rankings, as well as being named Tier 3 in JUVE’s rankings in the Banking and Banking Regulatory category. Chambers & Partners also recognises Dr Susanne Grohé and Frank Müller, LL.M. as “Ranked Lawyers” for the FinTech Legal practice area. In addition, Annerton partner Udo Steger is one of Germany’s “Best Lawyers 2022” for the areas of data protection law and IT law.
In the interviews for the rankings, the firm’s clients said about the team:
“The Annerton team is one of the most qualified lawyers I have seen in the field of financial market supervision in the last 10 years. “(The Legal 500, category Finanzmarktaufsicht 2022)
“The team is, in my opinion, one of the leading FinTech teams in Germany, dealing with all areas of FinTech. Several leading personalities with outstanding skills. They go beyond just legal advice and have a unique knowledge of the market. ” (The Legal 500, category FinTech 2022)
“They are very well organised, structured, and can handle large institutions.” (Chambers & Partners, category FinTech Legal 2022)
“The team is timely and they really understand the financial market.” (Chambers & Partners, category FinTech Legal 2022)
