Annerton advises Tangany on successful crypto custody license application
Frankfurt am Main, October 6, 2021 – Tangany is the ”first” German firm to obtain BaFin’s permission to hold digital assets in custody for third parties. In the license application process, Annerton provided legal advice to the Munich-based FinTech, which can now count itself among the few regulated service providers with a crypto custody license. Tangany is a B2B white label provider that has been on the market since 2018 with its custody suite for the safekeeping of digital assets.
Annerton advises Stokr on BaFin authorisation for Bitcoin-blockchain-based security token offering for Exordium
Frankfurt am Main, 22 September 2021 – Annerton advised Stokr on all DLT and regulatory issues in its application for BaFin permission for a Bitcoin-based Security Token Offering (STO) for video game provider Exordium. On 17 September 2021, the STO was officially approved by BaFin, which is unique in using a Liquid Blockchain and issuing in security token, instead of the previously used Etherum-blockchain. The investment platform Stokr has been offering token-based financial products to retail and institutional investors since 2017.
