Kitafino receives payment services license with Annerton

Nuremberg, Munich, November 27, 2024With the support of Annerton, kitafino GmbH has successfully applied for and received a payment services license. With this license, kitafino GmbH is now able to operate as a payment institution in a legally compliant manner and in accordance with regulatory requirements, offering innovative financial solutions for the processing of payments for the use of catering services in daycare centers and schools. Obtaining the license represents an important step for the further development of the company and strengthens kitafino’s competitive position.

Annerton provided comprehensive support to kitafino GmbH throughout the entire process of applying for a license – from detailed advice on regulatory requirements to the extensive preparation of the application documents and the final receipt of the license. Thanks to the professional expertise and commitment of the Annerton lawyers Peter Frey (partner) and Josefine Spengler (counsel) and tax consultant Dr. Steffen Rapp (partner), the license has now been successfully obtained. It includes the acceptance and settlement of payment transactions within the meaning of Section 1 (1) sentence 2 no. 5, 2nd alternative ZAG (Acquiring) and money remittance business within the meaning of Section 1 (1) sentence 2 no. 6 ZAG.
